The Reward for Surviving Rough Seas

The Reward for Surviving Rough Seas
We are all like sea shells tossed about in rough waters and being re-shaped in wondrous ways. But have you ever contemplated the notion that sea shells have to complete their journey through the rough waters before they get to rest on the shore? Yeah, we are ALL like sea shells and Heaven is The Great Shore.

Oatmeal, Autonomy and Utter Satisfaction

Greetings Everybody,
I hope you read the Title of this particular post, cause that Title says it ALL.

Yep that's scrambled eggs on his wrist, but apparently face painting is best done with oatmeal these day.

Have a  great day!

Lolol....thanks Harriet. Breakfast was a hoot this morning.

Surprise,!!!...I am still awake at this incredibly late hour.
I took a nap today, so I guess that's why I am still awake.

Truth being told, I take a lot of naps during the summer and it nearly kills me when school starts back and I can't do that anymore.
The world would be a much better place if everybody was allowed to take a 2 hour nap during the day...don't you agree? Lolol

I am contemplating writing a bit more about this picture...he was so very sweet during this time. Got a bit more to share about it, but my heart wants to hold onto the story a little longer and savor it some more before I release it to the world.

Funny how Grandmother "glasses" are different than "mommy" glasses.

Yes I saw a mess, but I saw beyond that...to a very happy little boy.
