Greetings Everybody,
I am so excited that this remote wireless is working like it is supposed to now.
The post just below this, "The Broken Things" was written early yesterday morning, but I wasn't able to post it until evening.
The wireless just wasn't going through and connecting like it was supposed to.
But now it is and all is well.
We had a most wonderful day yesterday.
We attended a small congregation about 30 minutes away from here...and were blessed for having attended.
When I say small, let me give you the numbers. They had 45 people in worship services last Sunday and 42 the Sunday before that. lol Yeah it's a small church.
But its a vibrant church.
THOSE PEOPLE CAN SING!!!!!
Beautiful Harmonies...
Full Voices...
They were filled with Joy....
And WE were blessed by them.
The sermon was SPOT ON!
The little old country preacher was amazing.
He has style, he is cogent, he is clear, and he is a gifted speaker.
God, is using that man for HIS glory.
I think every person in that congregation, except the little children, shook our hands and welcomed us.
We were so very glad that we attended and I know that we will go back there the next time we come to this place.
I am reminded once again that God is supplying blessings.
Right now, I am looking out on the lake and am filled with awe.
Every morning, at just the right moment, when the sun is just peaking over the horizon, God turns the surface of the lake pink.
Such a beautiful thing.
And I am honored to get to write about what I am seeing and experiencing here.
And here's a bonus blessing: We found out yesterday that some friends will be able to join us tomorrow & stay with us for a few days.
These cherished friends are the same ones who went to Hawaii with us a few years back.
We vacation very well together.
I bet we end up having a blast.
Today hubby and I will get the boat ready.
We have a big ole pontoon boat & love to cruise up and down the lake in it.
I can just see us now...the 4 of us...making our way down the lake, playing our 70's CD's and laughing.
These friends are great friends.
All 4 of us get along.
We love them deeply.
God is GOOD!
Father, Thank You for the eyes to see your wondrous works here on earth and the heart that yearns to see the things you have prepared for us in Heaven.
In Him,
Grace
